Modding (the act of creating a "modification" or "mod" for a game) takes a lot of very hard work. It requires knowledge of 3D modeling, XML, and sometimes lua scripting. For Farming Simulator 22, to get a mod hosted on farming-simulator.com's ModHub, it must go through a rigorous process that can take weeks, and must adhere to Giant's policies. Sometimes, a modder may choose to share their hard work on a legitimate third party site (SimplySafeMods.com, KingMods.com, Itch.io, Facebook, etc), but to get the most "reach", the goal is usually to get a mod hosted on ModHub.
That said - there are many sites out there that use what is called "scrapers" - a robot / script that goes out to the legitimate sites and steals / makes a copy of every mod released, and lists them on their own site - to drive ad revenue. Do not use these type of sites, Always download mods from respected or original sites, never from scrapers!
Distributing a mod and/or a map, which is no longer in its original form from the author, does not help those authors. If we want more of these amazing mods and/or maps. Continue to download them from the links provided from the authors.
